WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU!
Our service area covers over 800 square miles and 11 zip codes. All programs and services are provided free of charge to persons living in poverty. Mission Northeast is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization, eligible to accept tax exempt donations.
ABOUT MISSION NE
We began as a small church pantry in Kingwood, Texas in 1995, and in 2000 we moved to our own location on Loop 494 in New Caney.
WHAT WE DO
We provide food, clothing and household items, and also build relationships with our clients by getting to know them and helping them above and beyond their basic needs.
HOW CAN I HELP
Little paragraph about the Mission’s work depends on the generosity of caring people in the community. Thank you in advance for your help…..

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
A message from our team;
During this entire time of COVID 19 pandemic, Mission Northeast has not shut down! We continue to provide food, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies on a drive-by/no contact basis to hundreds of families from 8-11 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Approximately 20% of families served during the pandemic are new or first time to Mission Northeast.
Since March 17, we have served more families and distributed more food than in all of 2019. The need has been great, and unfortunately, it continues. Through grants, church, and community donations we have helped hundreds of families with rent/mortgage, utilities, prescriptions, car payments, education, and job training, and many necessities of life that have been impacted by COVID. This has also been done via no contact through email, fax, and phone.
We are distributing children’s clothing only – on Wednesday mornings only; again in the drive-by method. Because clients are not entering the building, we are not distributing other clothing at this time. We ask that you please do not bring adult clothing donations to us at least for the rest of 2020. Our clothing areas are filled to max capacity. We are ONLY accepting donations of children’s clothing, all sizes of tennis shoes, and coats/hoodies of all sizes. Those donations may be made on Mondays between 8-12 or by appointment, 281-354-1200, ext 202.
This website has a list of food and holiday items most needed at this time. There is also a method for making a donation. In the near future, you will hear about a new venue for us, Better Unite. We encourage you to visit our website and Facebook pages regularly to keep up to date with Mission information.
We are incredibly blessed and grateful for the volunteers who have faithfully served us through these difficult days! Without them, we could not have done what needed to be done each day. Thank you, friends, for your prayers, presence, and support.
Stay safe and be well,
Pam, Kathy, Vicki, Jean, Angie, Blanca, and Wilma
